The Certificate in Information Technology (IT) is designed to provide essential training to students, liberal arts graduates, as well as career changers and other professionals looking to enter the field of information technology. The selection of courses teaches and exposes the language of IT to those new to the field.
The department should be notified upon completion of these courses in order to have the certificate listed on the transcript. Please note all classes must be completed with a “C-“ or higher. Download the Certificate Completion Form (pdf) here.
To earn a Certificate in Information Technology, participants must complete 15 hours from the following courses:
