A one year Executive Program for a cohort of 20 online, full-time students will begin January 2011. Since students will be full-time students, they are expected to be employed less than 20-25 hours per week. Students will engage in studies across five 8-week semesters, taking two online courses per semester, and will graduate December 2011. This program was designed and supported with grant funds provided by Florida's Great Northwest.
To be considered for selection into this program, prospective students must send an email to the Software Engineering Grant Assistant, Ruth Edwards at redwards@uwf.edu indicating desire to be considered for this cohort with complete contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, and postal mail address).
Applicants are eligible for out-of-state tuition waivers if not a resident of Florida. Students may also apply for departmental scholarships. For additional information regarding scholarships and financial aid review the UWF scholarships/financial aid webpage.
Students must already be admitted to UWF by December 10, 2010 to be selected for this program. Interested applicants not already admitted to the university may apply now using the UWF online graduate admissions application. Choose Spring 2011 for admission and choose "Master's Program - Computer Science/Software Engineering" from the Major menu. Applicants must submit all UWF and Software Engineering program admission requirements (i.e., application fee, transcripts, letter of intent, letters of reference, and GRE/MAT/GMAT scores prior to November 15, 2010.
