Research Interests

My primary research interests involve information security with respect to Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems and also with respect to Competitive Intelligence (CI).  Spply-chain logistics systems have expanded to encourage customers, vendors, and distributors to gain access to participating companies' databases for planning, order processing, distribution, and service purposes in order to improve planning and to save time and money.  These trends, plus the fact that many such information systems use RFID technology or are Internet-based, have created a significant security risk to sensitive data, proprietary information, and the IT resources for all entities involved.
