Biography

As the associate vice president of Field Operations for Cox Communications, Jill Stinemetz is responsible for establishing strategic vision and translating innovation into action, while addressing operational challenges and growth. She is a dynamic leader with 20+ years of leading operations, strategic planning, and execution. Jill is known as an innovative thinker, with a proven track record of collaboration in a matrixed environment. Jill’s success is attributed to her authentic leadership style and ability to lead change, and build strong relationships and teams.

Jill joined Cox Communications in 2001 in the Gulf Coast System. During her time, she has led operations, training, and leadership initiatives in Cox Business, customer care, and field services.   In 2009, she moved to Las Vegas where she led all the residential field and the Communication Center teams. During her time at Cox, she has developed functional expertise in Field Services, Communications Center Operations, Vendor Management and Change Leadership. She was selected as a Women in Cable Television Rising Leader in 2012.  Prior to her time at Cox,  Jill taught elementary school with Teach for America and transitioned to corporate learning and organizational development at Air Canada, where she worked prior to moving back to the United States.  She has a B.A. degree in political science and journalism from the University of Florida and earned her master’s degree in education and sociology from The University of Toronto. Committed to giving back,  Jill is active in the National Diversity & Inclusion Council, the Executive Learning Council and IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area.  She is married to Brian, and they have two adult daughters, Sydney and Jaden. She is also a loyal Florida Gator.
