Jeanette Yaeger

Biography

Jeanette Yaeger is Vice President of Greatness Inc. & 180 Communications. In addition to managing the financial operations of both of these companies, Jeanette is very active in the business strategy and development of new partnerships and sponsorships. For over 20 years Jeanette also worked in and around the state
legislative process. Most recently as Vice President of One Eighty Consulting, where she represented interests in health care, information technology, agriculture, corrections, financial services, auditing, gaming, and education.

Prior to joining One Eighty, Jeanette was a Government Affairs Consultant with Arnall and Associates, representing high profile clients such as BellSouth, the PGA of America Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida. She was the lead consultant for the Florida office of this firm.
Previous to this, Jeanette was the Government & Public Affairs Liaison for Western Growers in Phoenix, Arizona. She lobbied on behalf of Western Growers (WGA), Arizona Crop Protection Association (AZCPA), Western Plant Health Association, and Crop Life America. While there, she planned and executed two major fundraisers for AZCPA and developed membership for WGA.

Before moving west, Jeanette was the Director of Legislative Affairs for the Florida Correctional Privatization Commission. As their Chief Lobbyist, she promoted legislative interest in further privatization and efficiency of state government, handled all press and legislative communications, contract renewals, ad valorem tax issues, and bond financing issues. Some of her major projects included increasing capacity at private facilities and reorganizing the bond financing of state facilities to increase cost-savings to the State.

Jeanette worked for the Florida House of Representatives as Legislative Assistant to State Representative Joseph R. Spratt early in her career. She drafted and tracked legislation, presented legislation before committees, secured companion sponsors, and met with constituents and special interest groups regarding policy.
Jeanette graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Political Science. She received her M.B.A. from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, completing a dual-emphasis in management and finance.

Jeanette is a proud member of the Cornerstone Class #38 for Leadership Florida and currently serves on the Northwest Florida Regional Council. She is also a past Chair of the Board of Directors for the United Way of the Big Bend and the statewide Board of Governors for the United Way of Florida. She actively serves on the Board of the Museums of Florida History Foundation and the FSU Autism Institute Advisory Board. She resides in Tallahassee with her husband, Don. They have two beautiful children, Will and Madeleine. In her spare time, Jeanette enjoys traveling the world with her family and entertaining friends in her home.
