Irina Franklin received her B.S. in Anthropology from Florida State University in 2006. While at FSU she studied abroad in the Republic of Panama. She has field experience in terrestrial, underwater, and public archaeology. Irina worked for the State of Florida's Bureau of Archaeological Research as the Underwater Program Coordinator. During the summers of 2006 & 2007 she worked as a field supervisor for Fernbank Museum of Natural History's Public Archaeology Program. Currently, she works with the Florida Public Archaeology Network as a Public Archaeology Assistant. Degree and Focus: Historical Archaeology, Maritime.
