Sarah Battaglia received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of West Florida. Her thesis proposes a prehistoric culture history model of interior Northwest Florida that delineates the occupational sequence in the Sandhills and Sinkholes project area and places these occupations within the chronological framework of the northern Gulf Coast. She has participated in multiple excavations in downtown Pensacola and surrounding areas such as Pace and the Blackwater River State Park. Sarah was involved in the Forest and Lakes project for over three years and is currently employed at an environmental engineering and consulting firm. Degree and focus: Anthropology, Prehistoric.
