UWF Senior Class Gift Medallion

Senior Class Gift Program

As a graduate, you may show your appreciation to the University of West Florida by making a class gift to the UWF Foundation. Your class gift of $20.14 or more will give you the opportunity to elect to receive a commemorative medallion to wear at commencement. 

Make your gift at the Graduate Gala on April 24, 2014, visit the Alumni Association in Building 12 or make your gift online at uwf.edu/give.  If you elect to make your gift online, please also email us at alumni@uwf.edu to let us know where to send your commemorative medallion.


Alumni Awards Recognition

The University of West Florida Alumni Association has an Awards and Recognition Program for those who make a difference to the Alumni Association, the university and/or their respective communities.The awards are given every other year in recognition of those who work to help and promote the university, the alumni association and the more than 69,000 UWF alumni. The program will be held next in 2015. Those eligible for nomination include alumni, friends, faculty and staff of the university.

Spring into Action

Spring into Action is the UWF Alumni Association's professional development program. It is composed of two parts: Network-A-Thon and a Professional Development Symposium. It is held to provide networking and professional development opportunities to our alumni and students.

The Network-a-Thon will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the University Conference Center from 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm.  Join us to hear an exciting panel discussion, break out sessions led by Dr. Athena du Pre' and Mr. Jay Massey and plenty of time to network.  See the exciting things happening in departments across campus and make a gift to the University to help further their studies.

The Professional Development Symposium will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm in the Commons Auditorium.  This student and alumni focused event will feature a keynote speaker, lunch with alumni from various professions and exciting breakout sessions to help further your professional development.

Workplace Luncheons

The Workplace Luncheon program is designed for businesses and organizations that employ 10 or more UWF alumni in the Northwest Florida area. Alumni guests are treated to lunch, and a UWF guest speaker provides University updates. The event is an excellent opportunity for alumni to exchange information with each other.
