Highlights

Linking Strasbourg, France to Kehl, Germany, the Deux-Rives Garden and Footbridge is a cross-border park between two countries, and a symbol of reconciliation. French and German are the official languages of Strasbourg and English is widely spoken. A UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the Council of Europe, Strasbourg hosts the European Court of Human Rights and the European Parliament.

Overview

Established in 1919, EM Strasbourg Business School of the University of Strasbourg, founded in 1567, is the only Grande Ecole in France attached to a major university. Offering coursework in several disciplines for General Business majors, several international corporations have a presence in Strasbourg with internship opportunities for students studying a full academic year. Fall and spring semester and academic year exchange is available. EM Strasbourg Business School also has an excellent four-week summer program which includes visits to international organizations and corporations.

Academics

Undergraduate program courses are available in a variety of disciplines and topic areas including economics, finance, general business, management and human resource management, logistics, strategic planning, management information systems, and marketing. Several language and cultural courses are also available as well as humanities and social sciences to bring greater context to business studies.

Living Experience

Accommodations are available in several types of residences that allow students to live in furnished studios and residence halls. Accommodations are located in various areas of Strasbourg with easy access to campus, allowing students to select an accommodation of best fit for their needs and interests.

Budget

Costs of participation may be less than you think! Compared to UWF estimated direct cost of $7,970 for tuition, housing and meals per semester, or $15,940 for an academic year for in-state residents, the cost of a semester of study in Strasbourg between $5,000 and $7,000, and $10,000 to $15,400 for an academic year. Costs vary by housing type and single or shared living spaces and meal selection. Tuition is paid on a semester basis to UWF and is charged at the same rate (in-state or out-of-state) that you pay when studying in Pensacola. This cost estimate does not include cost of international travel to include flight, visa, passport, and insurance.
