What do you enjoy most about working with students? 

I learn as much from the students as they do from me. I get to meet so many unique people and help them navigate their college experience and prepare for the world. It is a privilege to be a part of their journey, watching them explore the world and grow into independent adulthood.

What is the best advice you ever received?

Have high standards for yourself and everything you do!! Don't do things just to do them, do them the best you can every single time. You will be disappointed sometimes and that's okay, learn from your shortfalls to improve next time.

What advice would you like to give new students and families?

Students: There's something to learn in every new experience so take advantage of as many opportunities as you can. Try EVERYTHING... it will help you become who you're meant to be.

Families: Keep talking to your student about their experience and support them every way you can, they still need you.

What are your favorite activities outside of work? 

Traveling/exploring is a favorite so we are very fortunate to live in a place with natural beauty, rich culture, and easy access to international travel. We also enjoy the numerous festivals and live music performances around town throughout the year.
