About University Conferencing, Events and Youth Services at the University of West Florida.
The Office of University Conferencing, Events and Youth Services (UCEYS) serves as the central gateway for conferences, external events, and youth programming at the University of West Florida. We connect organizations, businesses, and community partners with the people, places, and possibilities that make exceptional experiences possible on campus.
Rather than directly managing day-to-day event operations or facility scheduling, UCEYS acts as a coordinated intake and partnership hub, guiding clients from initial inquiry through contracting, logistics coordination, and transition into campus support services. Our goal is to simplify access to UWF’s resources while ensuring every event is strategically aligned, professionally executed, and positioned for success.
A Growing Destination for Events
UWF continues to expand its capacity as a premier destination for conferences and large-scale gatherings. A centerpiece of this growth is the new on-campus stadium development, scheduled for completion in Fall 2027. Once complete, the stadium will serve as a flagship venue for major events, athletic and community programming, and large-scale conferences, further elevating UWF’s ability to host high-impact experiences at regional and national levels.
Our Role
UCEYS supports the university’s mission by:
- Serving as the centralized entry point for external event and conference inquiries
- Coordinating contracting and event intake processes
- Connecting clients with appropriate campus venues, services, and partners
- Positioning UWF as a competitive destination for conferences and large-scale events
Through this work, we help strengthen community engagement, expand institutional visibility, and generate revenue that supports the continued growth of the university.
Looking Ahead
As UWF expands its event infrastructure and hospitality capacity, UCEYS will continue to grow into a high-impact, cross-functional office supporting external partnerships and signature university experiences. The addition of new venues, including the future stadium, will further enhance our ability to attract conferences, youth programs, and major events to campus.
