Student Organizations

The UWF Student Association of Public Health was created to prepare and educate leaders in public health through service to the community.

Mission

The mission of SAPH is to provide an online platform for leadership development and career-skill cultivation in future public health professionals at UWF.

Goals

  • Assist members in networking with fellow students.
  • Assist members in the completion of their degree and MPH.
  • Arrange local and national community service projects.
  • Connect members with careers and internship opportunities.
  • Have a presence at national and state public health conferences and trainings.
  • Introduce career paths within each track through speakers and workshops.
  • Provide leadership opportunities for all members.
  • Survey student body and faculty members to understand the public health needs on campus.

Membership

Open to all graduate and undergraduate public health students and those interested in a public health career.
