Movement Sciences and Health
Our department is home to academic programs that focus on movement sciences and health. We prepare students to be competent and prepared professionals in their selected careers in athletic training, exercise science, fitness and sport coaching, physical education teacher education, and health promotion.
MSH provides student-centered, quality education through innovative teaching and research, high impact experiences, professional preparation, and community engagement.
Our graduates are employed in variety of settings including schools, universities, clinics, and sport/fitness industry. Students also have opportunities to work in state and local health departments, hospitals, corporate settings, military, and federal government. The Department of Movement Sciences and Health is a member of the American Kinesiology.
