Biography
I am both excited and grateful for the opportunity to complete my pre-master’s internship at CAPS. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Humanities from Shimer College before pivoting to psychology. During my time as a student at UWF, I have worked for Title IX as a graduate assistant, volunteered as a teaching assistant in the psychology department, and currently serve as a member of the Psychology Graduate Student Advisory Board.
I am interested in psychoanalytic and existential approaches to therapy, but wish to integrate concepts and interventions from multiple theoretical orientations. I learned from studying the humanities and philosophy that there is no one correct way to understand thought, art, or people. As Horace said, sapere aude. Dare to know.
