Mimi Surratt

Biography

Mimi has been an instructor with the Teacher Ready program for the past 12 years and brings more than 13 years of experience in secondary education. Over the past three years, she has also worked in adult education, where she continues to cultivate her passion for supporting learners at every stage.

Through her work with Teacher Ready, Mimi enjoys connecting with and building relationships with future educators. Her goal is not only to guide them in developing strong literacy practices, but also to prepare them to manage classrooms effectively and foster meaningful, lasting relationships with their own students.
