Biography
Kim began working with the TeacherReady program in 2016 as an instructor and, in 2024, joined the clinical experience placement team for the University of West Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Middle Grades Education from Brenau University, as well as advanced degrees in School Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Policy and Studies from Georgia State University.
Since beginning her career in public education in 1998, Kim has served in multiple roles, including classroom teacher, Early Intervention Program teacher, school-based instructional coach, assistant principal, district mathematics coordinator, and district early childhood coordinator. Of all the subjects she has taught, Kim considers her current course—Foundations #2: Workplace Fundamentals—her favorite, as it provides valuable tools and strategies to support the success of new teachers in the school environment.
