Biography
Dr. Melissa Webb is a strategic leader in higher education, serving concurrently as the Assistant Dean of the School of Education and the Director of the Office of Graduate Studies at the University of West Florida. With over five years at UWF and two decades in the field, she has been a driving force in institutional success.
In her leadership roles, Dr. Webb champions policy development and oversight for the School of Education and directly manages critical Board of Governors (BOG) graduate metrics to ensure strategic growth.
She shares her extensive expertise as an adjunct professor, teaching graduate courses in Higher Education Law and Policy and Finance and Budget, in addition to business and communication courses at Pensacola State College. Her research centers on student attitudes and motivation, approaches to learning, and student support and engagement.
Degrees & Institutions
Dr. Webb holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management from the University of South Alabama. She furthered her studies by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of West Florida, followed by an M.Ed. and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Leadership from the University of South Alabama.
