Biography

A bit about me...

I'm a Gen-Xer who cares deeply about education and history. I adore spending time with my family, including my cat, Loki. Love watching movies and playing games.
I am exceedingly grateful to be part of the School of Education and love nothing more than harnessing my passion for advising and student success for the overall benefit of our students and their goals.
I strive to be the staunchest advocate for all students, continually strengthening my own accessibility best practices' toolbox and sharing with colleagues new/evolving education philosophies, learning styles, and emerging technologies. Learning is truly transformative!
I have over twenty-two years of higher education experience in multiple campus roles, all of which continue to positively impact my interactions with students, faculty, and staff.
I have served and continue to serve in varying capacities for the Emerald Coast Academic Advising Network (ECAAN), and I maintain current membership in the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).

Work/Location Schedule

Monday - work remotely
Tuesday through Friday - work on campus (Building 85, Room 117)
Fall 2025 - Virtual (Zoom) Office Hours - Mondays 12PM-1:30PM/Fridays 1-2:30PM Central Time
