Do you have a passion for teaching or want to give back to the profession, but feel that it would be nice to get a little “lagniappe” (something extra) for your dedicated time? Being a healthcare provider means you are very busy and likely inundated with requests to mentor/precept. At UWF, we understand and want to extend our gratitude by providing you with a token of appreciation for your time, expertise and passion for inspiring excellence.
If you are a passionate primary care provider in an outpatient primary care setting who is interested in serving as a preceptor for our FNP students, review our UWF FNP Preceptors Incentives Program below and complete the interest form.

UWF FNP Preceptor Incentives Program
Level 1 (> 120 hours yearly):
A UWF Nautilus Card providing access to the UWF John. C. Pace Library's on campus resources and admission to UWF sporting events with exception of football. A discounted rate UWF HLS Facility gym membership is also available to purchase for $100 per semester.
Level 2 (> 360 hours yearly):
All Level 1 benefits plus waiver of tuition for a maximum of six (6) hours credit instruction (including credit through continuing education) during a single term at any state university.
This incentive program is only for UWF FNP MSN program preceptors. For individuals interested in becoming preceptors for our Nursing Education and Nurse Executive MSN programs, please contact the UWF School of Nursing.
