Biography

Dr. Maggie Davis teaches in the Department of Business Administration. Davis holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of South Alabama. She also holds a Master of Social Work from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University. Prior to teaching, Davis worked in the healthcare industry as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Most recently, she served roles in leadership and nonprofit consulting. Davis has also served in various volunteer roles including membership on The Florida Bar 1st Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee and The Florida Bar Citizens Advisory Committee. 

Davis’s research interests include organizational behavior and ethics, leadership, and quantitative methods. She has publications in various outlets including the Journal of Health PsychologyComputers in Human BehaviorCognitive Therapy and Research, and Journal of Evidence-Informed Social Work, in addition to grants and conference presentations.
