Competitions: Two undergraduate finance students, under the mentorship of Dr. K.C. Ma, secured first place in the 2025 Southeastern Hedge Fund Strategy Competition, hosted by the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. They achieved the top ranking among participants from eight countries and 44 universities, including the University of Florida, the University of Hong Kong, Georgia State University, and the University of Idaho.

Graduate Program Enrollment: Over the past academic year, enrollment in the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program increased by 17%, while the MBA program experienced a 10% increase. The MAcc program was ranked No. 79 in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Master’s in Business Programs. The MBA program earned a No. 93 ranking in Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans and a No. 150 ranking in Best Online MBA Programs overall.

Our internship program serves as a powerful catalyst for this mission, connecting our dedicated students with community organizations to foster shared success and drive regional prosperity.
The College internship program has demonstrated growth over the past three academic years, reflecting its increasing integration into our students’ academic and professional development. The number of unique students participating in internships has increased 20% from the 2022-2023 academic year to the 2024-2025 academic year.

This past year, 73 business students engaged directly with our community partners, contributing 18,900 hours of skilled work. Our community partnerships are at the heart of our impact. By collaborating with key community anchors like Navy Federal Credit Union, Warren Averett, the University of West Florida, Innisfree Hotels, Saltmarsh, Cleveland & Gund, Webb Tennis LLC, Swan Capital, Anglin Reichman Armstrong, the Walt Disney Company, and Aramark, we are not just placing students—we are co-creating value and developing the next generation of ethical, community-focused business leaders who are prepared to tackle society's greatest challenges.
