Biography
Robert Dizor is a student in the Intelligent Systems and Robotics Ph.D. program at the University of West Florida, focused on human-machine interfacing with robotics and artificial intelligence. He studies lower and upper extremity exoskeletons and prosthetics and their associated sensory and motor networks. He assists and teaches senior mechanical engineering students their capstone projects, such as understanding tactile fabric piezoelectric sensors for robotic effectors and upper extremity prostheses. He is also a physician and radiologist with a longstanding interest in musculoskeletal and neurological anatomy, physiology, and imaging.
