Biography

Duncan Calvert is a Research Associate at IHMC and a student in the Intelligent System and Robotics Ph.D. program at the University of West Florida. At IHMC, Duncan is working on fast behaviors for humanoid robots. His interests are in powerful and flexible software for operating humanoid robots in exploring dangerous environments, including space, nuclear disaster, and urban combat scenarios. He works with the robotics team on the Atlas, Valkyrie, and Nadia platforms. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science at UWF and graduated from Pace High School.
