Internships
An internship is a professional entry-level employment position that is related to a student's academic major and career interests. The purpose of the internship is to provide students with a unique opportunity to gain "real world" experience in science fields while pursuing their studies.
Internship Opportunities
Students may seek an internship with a local or regional employer in their area of study for credit toward their degree program. The internship may be counted in place of an upper-level elective. Students must consult their advisor and the department chair well in advance of a secured internship to seek approval of the internship for credit.
Students should consult Handshake at UWF for recent postings on internship opportunities.
