Biography
Dr. Molly Karen Pritchard, an Instructor in the Department of Biology, holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Georgia. Pritchard has taught numerous courses at UWF, including Anatomy and Physiology, Genetics, Tropical Ecology and Fundamentals of Ecology. She has conducted research in fish health assessment techniques, wild carp and grass shrimp. Her peer-reviewed work has been published in Journal of Aquatic Animal Health and Marine Ecology Progress Series. Pritchard was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Gulf Ecology Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency lab on Pensacola Beach. She earned a B.S. in Biology at Erskine College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
