CNC Manufacturing Lab

The CNC Manufacturing Lab is operated by the Mechanical Engineering Department providing training and support for student projects, research, and community protype production.


About the CNC Lab

The CNC Advanced Manufacturing Lab is a community machining space operated by the UWF Department of Mechanical Engineering in Historic Downtown Pensacola. The lab is devoted to providing training and support for students and the community on CNC machining. It also supports area companies with prototype production. The CNC Advanced Manufacturing Lab is located within the Museum of Commerce across from the SEA 3D Additive Lab through the kitchen area. 

The lab contains a Haas TL-2 CNC lathe and Hurco VM5i CNC mill. The laboratory also has a Haas CNC trainer along with a small meeting space.

Collaborators
