Augusta Simon ’70

Simon was a guest professor in the communications department and UWF’s first African American instructor. She is passionate about setting positive examples of leadership, advocacy and activism.

Alonzie Scott ’80, ’82

From his background in hospitality and leisure services for U.S. Armed Forces, to director of NAVSEA's Enterprise Talent Management Office, to his current role as director of mission support for the Office of Naval Research, Alonzie Scott continues to follow Zig Ziglar’s motto, "if you help enough people get what they want, you get what you want, too."

Cameron Davies ’91

After earning his MBA from UWF, Davies worked at Walt Disney Company developing and leading advanced analytical teams for a variety of business areas. Following that, Davies joined NBCUniversal as the SVP, Corporate Decisions Sciences. Most recently, Davies joined Yum! Brands, the world’s largest restaurant company, leading the Corporate Data and Analytics Strategy.

Hong Potomski ’06

Potomski is passionate healthcare leader, culture champion and community advocate and serves as regional director, regional business development at Florida Blue.

Chandler Carney ’14

Carney is the CEO and owner of KONDOR Pickleball, an international pickleball sporting goods company run by women and semi-pro athletes, out of both Florida and Santiago, Chile. Chandler graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies/Pre-Law as one of the first EMERGE scholars. She was a captain of the UWF volleyball team under Coach Melissa Wolter.

Jaclyn Bramlette ’21

Bramlette is a graduate of the UWF Air Force ROTC program, and the first UWF cadet to be selected for the U.S. Space Force. Bramlette received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and was commissioned into the U.S. Space Force in 2021.
