Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is The International Business Honor Society. BGS honors top performing students from around the world in business schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Our members are from the top 10% of undergraduate students, top 20% of graduate students and doctoral candidates that have successfully defended their dissertation at an AACSB accredited business school.

UWF College of Business student, Shane Parent, read to more than a dozen children in a 4-year old class.

Service Project

On September 6, 2017, National Read a Book Day, the UWF chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma read children’s books to preschool children in the UWF Educational Research Center for Child Development. As a business honor society, the goal for the Beta Gamma Sigma service project was to introduce to children business themes that included capacity planning, counting, perseverance, entrepreneurship, testing new products and ideas, and empowerment.
