Dr. John H. Batchelor's research looks at entrepreneurship, leadership, methods and organizational behavior as well as ethics, motivation and opportunity recognition. He examines aspects of gender, creativity, emotional intelligence, likelihood of success, and emotional labor.

Dr. Haris Alibašić is an Associate Professor in the Public Administration Program. He researches and teaches sustainability, resilience, governance, ethics, integrity, administration and public policy. He brings a combination of 27 years of professional and teaching expertise and experience.

Dr. Christopher L. Atkinson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration.

Dr. Gayle Baugh has conducted in-depth research on careers, mentoring and gender and diversity in the workplace. Baugh has examined factors that go into careers – ways to establish authenticity, developmental relationships, and the impact of mentoring on both mentor and protégé.

Dr. Gerald Burch is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration. He earned his Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Organizational Behavior and minoring in Decision Sciences.

Dr. Jana Burch teaches in the Department of Business Administration. She researches in the areas of creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, student engagement, and education.

Dr. Justin L. Davis teaches and conducts research in several fields. His work at UWF has examined factors tying sports gambling markets to management, organizational ethics, social capital, and various aspects of entrepreneurship and innovation processes.

Maggie Davis teaches in the Department of Business Administration. Her research interests include organizational behavior and ethics, leadership, and quantitative methods.

Kelly Massey has been the Regional Director for the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UWF since 2014.

Dr. Esmail Mohebbi teaches courses in operations management and e-Business systems. His research interests fall within the realm of mathematical modeling and quantitative analysis of problems related to supply chain management and operations management of logistics systems.

Dr. Lauren L. Rich teaches courses in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. She has developed a measure of organizational culture and proposed a multi-level framework for studying the indirect influence of organizational culture on individual work behavior.

Dr. Marian Schultz has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers on numerous subjects. Recent research examined “Career Management of Fire Service Personnel” and women in a traditionally male field, “Does the Fire Station have a Glass Ceiling? Perceptions of Female Firefighters.”

Dr. Stephen J. Snyder conducts research in Ethics and Decision Making; Business Strategy, and War-Gaming Simulation; and Multimedia and Student Learning. Snyder, a longtime military officer, has made frequent presentations at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg, N.C.

Dr. Shelby Solomon is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of West Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Louisiana State University in 2017. Prior to teaching at UWF, Shelby taught courses at LSU and Roger Williams University.

Dr. June (Jun) Wei's research covers information security and human behavior on Internet commerce, enterprise information systems development, and human information processing for cognitive tasks analysis.

Dr. Julie Ann Stuart Williams has conducted research on recycling, open-access scheduling systems and ways to assess and improve student learning. Her research includes studies of bulk recycling, “reverse production” and electronics recycling.
