School of Education
The School of Education offers initial teacher preparation programs and advanced educational degree programs that prepare graduates to be teachers, principals and educational leaders who make a difference in the lives of those they touch.
Welcome to the UWF School of Education
Professional educator roles are many and varied, from teachers, specialists and coaches to organizational administrators, curriculum designers and education technologists, to name but a few. The School of Education (SOE) was developed to concert and optimize the variety of learning opportunities and career pathways available to our students.
The School offers degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. The School of Education brings together faculty talent and student interest, in cooperation with district and school partnerships throughout the region, to realize synergies and drive new initiatives.
All initial teacher certification programs are accredited based on the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) standards through Spring 2025. CAEP is the only CHEA-recognized national accreditor for educator preparation. Learn more by visiting our accreditation page.
