Gil Fried is a tenured Full Professor at the University of West Florida and chair of the Administration & Law Department, which encompasses legal studies, construction management, sport management, and public administration. He started at UWF in 2021.

Dr. Haris Alibašić is an Associate Professor, the Public Administration Program Coordinator, and Whitman Faculty Fellow. He teaches courses and conducts research on sustainability, climate resilience, corporate social responsibility, ethics and integrity, and local governments.

Dr. Christopher L. Atkinson is an Assistant Professor in the Public Administration program at the University of West Florida.

Jennifer L. Brinkley has a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, practiced law and taught at both the University of Colorado at Denver and at Western Kentucky University before joining UWF in 2019.

Dr. Jamee Ann Pelcher is an assistant professor in the Department of Administration and Law. Her research focus is on environmental sustainability in sport and sport ecology.

Charles “Charlie” Penrod, an Associate Professor of Legal Studies, has conducted research on copyright law, unemployment law, business law and cyber crime, among other topics.

Dr. Chenxiang “Charlie” Song is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Sports Management Program at UWF’s Department of Administration and Law.

Harold M. (Hal) White, Jr. is Emeritus Professor of Ethics, Law & Policy. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UWF from 2002 to 2010.
