Resources
CEDB offers several resources such as research laboratories, a herbarium, a database of environmental concerns, and high-tech modular facilities.
Wetlands Research Laboratory
The WRL is State of Florida Certified for environmental water analysis (Lab ID:E71969), conforming to the standards set out by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference as adopted into Chapter 64E-1 of the Florida Administrative Code. The laboratory complies with full chain of custody sample storage and handling practices.

The Michael I. Cousens Herbarium of the University of West Florida (UWFP) was established 30 October 1974 (as the Herbarium of the University of West Florida) for the purpose of documenting the Flora of the Florida panhandle and neighboring states. The Michael I. Cousens Herbarium is located in Building 58 on the scenic UWF main campus, which has over 2,000 acres of mostly undeveloped land, including whole undisturbed forests of pines, hardwoods and swamp forest communities.

In June 1999, the special Grand Jury on Air and Water Quality (Grand Jury Report) impaneled by the Chief Judge of the First Judicial Court of the State of Florida reported that "many independent, separate, and often redundant, studies have been made of various aspects of the area air and water."
Environmental Bibliography/PERCHFacilities
The Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation (CEDB) is located on the main campus of the University of West Florida (UWF). CEDB's administrative and faculty offices and research laboratories are located in the biology/chemistry building (Bldg. 58). The Center's administrative office and storage space total about 1538 sq. ft. CEDB has additional office space in an adjacent modular facility (Bldg. 6) and a separate analytical services laboratory (Wetlands Research Laboratory; Bldg. 83).
