2018 CAE Regional Resource Center Southeast Cybersecurity Conference (SECC)

July 26-27, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando, Florida


Conference Information:

The 2018 Centers of Academic Excellence Southeast Cybersecurity Conference occurred on July 26-27 in Orlando Renaissance at SeaWorld. The conference was geared toward faculty from institutions in the Southeast with CAE designation or interest in applying for CAE designation.

Educators from across the Southeast presented at 16 workshops. The workshop topics included behavioral cybersecurity education, integrating cryptography into security curriculum, community outreach, mobile digital forensics and the value of cybersecurity competitions.

As the CAE Regional Resource Center for the Southeast U.S., UWF in collaboration with the NSA CAE Program office aims to advance cyber defense education among colleges and universities in the Southeast and support all institutions that are CAE designated or interested in applying for CAE designation.
