Biography

Jonathan Arneault is the Chief Executive Officer, FuelTrust. Known amongst many as the Wizard of Oz, Jonathan thrives on working to impact great change.

Jonathan’s prior roles include Director of IBM North America SaaS, Center of Excellence, and Go-To-Market Transformation, serving in executive leadership for IBM M&A, WebSphere Software, as the Business Unit Executive for Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA), and in IBM’s Watson Cloud units. Jonathan has been a key leader for IBM Cloud security and operations.

Jonathan also serves as a Director of the Lucas Scholarship Foundation, aiding youth in Sub-Saharan Africa to pursue education as Medical Doctors in their native countries.  He also is a Director of the Barnabas Trust, a charitable foundation providing assistance and direct-aid to non-political NGOs, as well as being an advisor to a number of innovative emerging technology companies.  Jonathan was a Presidential Appointee to the U.S. Selective Service System board and serves on numerous utility and non-profit boards.

Jonathan’s distinguished 30-year career in technology includes senior management and executive positions at Netscape, America Online, Sun Microsystems, Mercator Software, and Ascential Software.  He has been acquired four times, as well as serving as a leader in fifteen inbound IBM acquisitions. He came to IBM through their purchase of Ascential Software in 2005 and has been making the world a better place through IBM ever since.
