Email Signature Generator
Email is our most common form of day-to-day communication and therefore one of the most visible ways we communicate. Clear, consistent email identification strengthens the UWF brand. Please use the form below to enter your information. If no information is entered in a field, it will not appear in the generated signature. When you are finished filling out the form, use the “Generate Signature” button and then follow the instructions to add the signature to your Gmail account. Please note that any additional text or graphic elements are not permitted to be added to a UWF email signature.

Your generated email signature is below. Please proofread to make sure all information is correct. In addition, please open the links to make sure the linked content is and added correctly to your signature. If any information or links need updating, please generate a new signature.
To add your signature to your Gmail account, click the Copy Signature button and then proceed with the following steps:
- Open Gmail.
- In the top right, click Settings, then See all settings.
- In the Signature section, select all of the content in your current signature and delete then paste your new signature in the text box. If you do not currently have a signature, you will need to click Create new, give it a name, and then paste the signature into the text box that appears.
- Just below the signature box, review and update the Signature Defaults options For New Emails Use and On Reply/Forward Use as needed.
- At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
- Compose a new email to verify the signature has been updated. Recommend sending a test email to yourself or a coworker (give them advanced notice) to confirm no issues sending emails with the updated signature.
