Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides counseling and psychiatric services to assist students in managing, coping, and growing during their transition to college life. Our main objective is to help students develop the self-awareness and skills needed to overcome obstacles, enabling them to make the most of educational opportunities at the University.
How to Get Started
We offer triage sessions to identify the level of care that meets your needs. Call our office at 850.474.2420 and follow the prompts during regular service hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) to schedule a Triage Appointment.

Self-Help Resources
CAPS has Self-Help Resources available for all current students. Among these resources, we offer telehealth services through our secure platform, TAO by Uplift. TAO by Uplift has other great resources, including modules, assessments, practice tools and a mindfulness library.
