The 2023 Veterans Week will be more exciting than ever! This year, Veterans Week coincides with Foo Foo Fest in Pensacola and promises to be filled with tons of great things to do for veterans and their families throughout our community.
The GIS of Comedy
The Military and Veterans Resource Center invites all students and the general public to celebrate Veterans Week with a FREE comedy show by The GIs of Comedy on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. at the UWF Conference Center.
The GIs of Comedy is a comedic troupe of troops who have taken their love of their country and brought it to the comedy stage. Quite simply, as the motto says, they are Standup Comics. All Veterans. Still Serving Their Country. One Joke At A Time.

Kickball Tournament Fundraiser
- Nov. 5, 2023, 0900 (9 a.m. Central)-until awards
- City of Gulf Breeze Parks & Rec Department, 800 Shoreline Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561
- Team requirements: 8 minimum / 14 maximum members; half must be female and half male (4:4, 5:5, 6:6, 7:7). All team members are to sign the Participant Agreement and Release from Liability form and hand it in on the day of the event.
- Cost: $200 per team.
