Regina Murphy

Biography

Regina Murphy joins UWF after several years in office administration at Emporia State University (Kansas) and Florida State University. She holds master's degrees in Music Performance and Music History and worked as a features editor for The Emporia Gazette for more than 15 years, where she also wrote a regionally syndicated weekly food column called "Murphy's Menu."

Ms. Murphy's academic history includes Rhodes College and the University of Memphis along with FSU, presentations at regional conferences across the South and a brief period as a professional opera singer. She has been on the local councils for United Way of the Flint Hills and the Kansas Children's Service League and is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a professional music fraternity for women.
