Provides a wide variety of recreational activities designed with the University community in mind. The program has six basic areas: Informal Recreation, Aquatics, Fitness/Wellness, Intramural Sports, Outdoor Adventure, and Sport Clubs.
Participation in the six areas listed permits the individual to acquire and maintain muscular strength, coordination, and endurance; to become proficient in specific physical skills; to relieve stress; and to have fun. Involvement is the key to successful campus living. Quality of life is enhanced by developing a philosophy for lifetime fitness.
