Manny Diaz Jr. became the seventh president of the University of West Florida in February 2026 after serving as interim president since July 2025. He brings a record of leadership, public service and a deep commitment to education and opportunity.
As president, Diaz is leading UWF into its next chapter as a nationally recognized institution serving students and communities across Northwest Florida and beyond.
