Honors Medical Scholars Program
Abstract
If you are entering the UWF Honors Program as a freshman and are interested in attending medical school, you have an opportunity to receive admission to Florida State University College of Medicine or The University of South Florida College of Medicine and complete a medical degree, provided that you meet all the requirements of the program.
You will complete your Bachelor's Degree as an Honors student at the University of West Florida, and if accepted, you will pursue your Doctor of Medicine Degree at either FSU College of Medicine or USF College of Medicine.
**NOTE** If you are accepted to UWF with more than 45 credit hours of college credit, you are ineligible for the Honors Medical Scholars Program.

Application Info
Applicants to the UWF Honors Medical Scholars Program must provide all required materials to the Honors Program no later than March 1st. The required materials are:

- Self-Critical Analysis
- Student Profile
- Reference Listing
Recommendation letters should be sent to the Honors Program on your behalf to:

These letters should be received no later than March 1, 2012.
To qualify for consideration into the UWF Honors Medical Scholars Program, you must have submitted an application to the UWF Honors Program. Your application will not be evaluated until it is complete, including reference letters.
