Sending Transcripts

It is the responsibility of the applicant to request official transcripts be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions from every college and university attended.

High School Transcript

Transfer students with less than 30 college credit hours are required to send high school transcripts.  Students with 30-59 college credit hours are not required to send high school transcripts.

Contact your high school records office to request that your high school transcript be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions.  We also accept official high school transcripts that are faxed or emailed, but only if they are sent directly from the high school.  They can fax us at (850) 474-3360, email us at admissions@uwf.edu, or

Attention Florida Public High School Graduates:  If sending transcripts through the state electronic system (FASTER or SPEEDE), your high school transcript DOES NOT include ACT/SAT test scores.  Please contact ACT or SAT to have previous testing results sent to UWF.

Home School Transcript

If you are a homeschool student, you will still need send a homeschool high school transcript to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

College Transcripts

Contact the Records/Registrar's Office from all previously attended colleges/universities to request transcript(s) be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions.  We can receive official transcripts electronically (Florida public institutions), email (admissions@uwf.edu), or:

Important Tips:

  • It is the responsibility of the applicant to request official transcripts be sent to UWF Undergraduate Admissions from every college and university attended.
  • Request that your current name and Social Security Number be added to the transcript if necessary.
  • Transcripts or academic records bearing the statement "Issued to Student," transcripts submitted by the applicant, or faxed transcripts are not considered official.  All transcripts become the sole property of the University.

Previous Institution Not from USA?

Applicants must submit official copies of any / all academic work (secondary school and any post-secondary college or university) to an approved credential evaluation company for a course by-course-credit evaluation with grade point average (GPA) calculation.  Students should request that the credentialing agency send both the evaluation report and the official transcript(s) to us directly once completed.  If applicable, transcripts should be translated to English and also submitted to UWF.

Applicants with transcripts that are not in English must also submit a transcript translation in addition to the course-by-course evaluation.

Sending Test Scores

Transfer students with less than 30 college credit hours are required to send ACT plus writing and/or SAT test scores.  Students with 30-59 college credit hours are not required to send test scores.

Students need to contact ACT.org (ACT) and / or Collegeboard.com (SAT) directly and request all score results to be sent to UWF.

Receival Time for Previous Test Score Results:  Please allow 5-7 business days for your scores to be received to your application after you have submitted your formal request for your test scores to be sent to UWF.

Receival Time for New Test Score Results:  Please allow 4-6 weeks after your test date for new test score results to be received to your application and verify that UWF is on the list of schools to receive your scores when they are released.
