The GeoData Center maintains a modern geospatial laboratory facility in building 13 on the UWF Pensacola campus. The lab is used for course instruction, research, and training courses.

Additional hardware available through the GeoData center includes a Sokkia total station surveying unit, a Trimble Pro XR D-GPS unit, and two handheld GPS/mobile GIS units running Windows CE and ESRI ArcPad.
Two internet mapping servers (IMS) provide the general public access to GIS databases such as Saint Michael’s Cemetery interactive map and the PERCH water quality study. Students in the GeoData center have access to a 6TB SQL Server databases via direct connect or ArcSDE, and a remote install / license server.

The center also houses numerous spatial datasets for the state of Florida including DRGs, DOQQ(s) and 6" color aerial photography.
