1/2 Day Math Camp

What is the probability that you will love math camp?

If you enjoy learning while doing activities and playing games, then there is a 100% chance you will love Math Camp! Come learn math strategies and math games that will impress your whole family and all your friends.

Description of Math Camp:

• 1-week half-day camp for boys and girls (entering 1st through entering 6th graders)
• Campers will be put into small groups based on their grade level
• Learn math rules and strategies
• Interactive math lessons
• Fun activities and games
• Daily chances for all to win prizes

What will you gain?

We use math everyday! It is all around us. Math Camp will help you gain a better understanding of confusing math vocabulary and rules through interactive activities and games.

1/2 Day Jr. Chess Camp

Have you ever wanted to learn to play chess, but
didn't know who to ask?

This is your chance to learn to play this strategic game from a profession chess player.

Description of Jr. Chess Camp:

• 1-week half-day camp for boys or girls (entering 1st-6th grade)
• Learn the complete basic rules and strategies of the game
• Learn about chess history as well as current events
• Interactive daily lessons focused on moving beyond the basics of the game  
• Lots of practice in tournament-style play
• Participation prizes to every student to help encourage continued play 

What will you gain?

Chess is a lot of fun! It teaches you how to think before you act and how to organize, plan and make decisions. It also impresses people who don’t know how to play. This camp will give you a basic understanding of the game and will serve as a starting point for further learning. And you’ll get some cool chess stuff!

Afternoon Adventure:

For around $35.00 a week, your child can join us in "Afternoon Adventure" after your full day summer program's activities are over at 3:00 P.M. Afternoon Adventure is an extended care option where participants are actively engaged until 5:30 P.M. This is great for parents who are unable to get away from the office for regular pick-up time at 3:00 P.M. Register for Afternoon Adventures here.
