ABET Accreditation

Our B.S. in Electrical Engineering program and our B.S. in Computer Engineering program are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://abet.org. ABET is the recognized global accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and engineering technology and is among the most respected accreditation organizations in the United States.

ABET accreditation is assurance that a program meets the quality standards established by the profession for which it prepares its students.

Which path will you take: Electrical or Computer?

UWF engineering students are taught in well-equipped facilities by energetic and approachable professors dedicated to superior teaching and hands-on experience. With two locations (Pensacola Campus and Emerald Coast location at Fort Walton Beach), students have many opportunities to engage in internship and research activities as well as three specializations to choose from.
