Dr. Brandon Frye

Dr. Brandon Frye began working at the University of West Florida (UWF) in February 2013 and currently serves as Associate Vice President and Dean of Students within the Division of Enrollment and Student Affairs. In this role he is responsible for the oversight and management of the following units/services: Dean of Students Office, Student Case Management Services, Office of Students Rights and Responsibilities, Student Involvement, and Recreation, Sports and Wellness. Dr. Frye serves as the Chief Conduct Officer for UWF. Additionally, he serves as Chair of the Campus Care Team and is a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
Prior to joining the staff at UWF he served as the Director of Student Development at Auburn University for approximately three years. Dr. Frye worked at the University of Georgia for ten years as Assistant Dean of Students, acting Associate Dean of Students, Coordinator for Case Management and Assessment, and Advisor to fraternities.
Dr. Frye earned his Ph.D. in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia (UGA) in 2009, his Master of Arts in Student Development from Appalachian State University (ASU) in 2001, and his Bachelor of Science in History/Secondary Education from ASU in 1999. His research interests include staffing practices, supervision, skill development, new professionals, student conduct administration, and assessment practices. He has also worked as a consultant to various educational institutions on the topics of higher education administration, student conduct, and organizational development.
Dr. Frye is a member of the Association of Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) and NASPA-Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. He also serves on the Board of PIKE University for the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity.
