MAJ McLeod graduated from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. Through ROTC, she commissioned U.S. Army officer with more than 10 years of experience; she has been at UWF since 2016.
Prior to serving at UWF, MAJ McLeod was a Plans Officer with the 350th Civil Affairs Command at Corry Station, Pensacola, FL; the Logistics Officer and Assistant SPO at the 711 BSB in Mobile, AL; the Assistant Operations Officer (AS3) for the 84th Ordance Battalion (EOD); and the Operations Officer for the 162nd EOD Company in Fort Riley, KS.
MAJ McLeod served in combat as the Operations Officer for the 162nd EOD Company in Iraq 2009-2010.
She is graduate of the Ordance Officer Basic Course, Logistics Captains Career Course, and the Naval School of Explosive Ordance Disposal.
Her awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with two bronze stars. Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Superior Explosive Ordance Disposal Badge.
