Over a dozen Art majors at the University of West Florida are receiving $1500 per year from the Presidential Talent Scholarship, which is awarded only to entering freshmen. This scholarship will be automatically renewed for four full years, as long as the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA.
Join the ranks of these talented young artists by applying for a Presidential Talent Scholarship before the deadline on March 23, 2009. Applications must include the following four items:
1) a completed Scholarship Application Form in the applicant’s own handwriting;

2) a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s art teacher;
3) a High School transcript;
4) a portfolio of art work (no more than a dozen pieces), either original works or digital images on CD’s
(CD’s will not be returned; portfolios of original art work can be picked up on, or after, Friday, March 27.)
