2012 Alumni Awards Program & Celebration
The University of West Florida Alumni Association has an Annual Awards and Recognition Program for those who make a difference to the Alumni Association, the university and/or their respective communities. The awards are given each year in recognition of those who work to help and promote the university, the alumni association and the more than 66,000 UWF alumni. Those eligible for nomination include alumni, friends, faculty and staff of the university. Nominations for the 2012 annual awards are now open.
The 2012 alumni awards will be presented on Saturday, March 31 on UWF"s Main Campus in the Conference Center. All alumni and friends are invited to attend the celebration. Nomination forms for the 2012 alumni awards can be found here and are due back to the Office of Alumni Relations no later than February 17, 2012. The 2010 alumni award winners were announced during the Annual Awards Program and Celebration which was held March 27, 2010, during Festival on the Green. The awards are given each year in recognition of those who work to help and promote the university, the alumni association and the more than 65,000 UWF alumni. Mollye Barrows, ’96, BA Communication Arts served as this year's program’s emcee. The 2010 award recipients are as follows:
