Secondary Robotics for Grades 7-10
Get ready to design, develop, create, program, and compete. This camp is where it all comes to life!
Students will:
- Learn the physics involved in developing a robot
- Be introduced to C Programming
- Plan and construct a functional robot using Parallax robot kits
- Creatively design sensors to accomplish tasks
- Work in collaborative groups
- Learn strategy development and implementation

Learning Outcomes
Students will receive in-depth knowledge of Robotics, programming, the engineering process and more. Content is focused on all 4 STEM content areas. Woven into the week, students will learn what engineering is, what engineers do and the different types of engineering disciplines. Students will use practical experience in technology problem-solving while also using creative thinking skills to apply the engineering process.
